I am offering it as a good basis for a reconditioning. The armature is intact, as is the field coil.
The same guide also showed that, in addition to matchless and Ajs 600 singles and 500 Twins, there were many 350, 500 and 650cc Triumph model's from the mid 40's to late 50's that used this part number, as well as certain panther and Ariel model's.
