Referred to as surface gap plugs, you can see in the photo these spark plugs have no electrode in the classic sense. However, the trade off for this performance is a slightly reduced service life. These plugs are designed for foe racing conditions, hence the recommended replacement interval on the street is 4000 miles or less, depending on your riding habits.

Due to the lack of an electrode protruding into the combustion chamber see photos, flame propagation is not redirected around the electrode as with a normal spark plug, which in turn produces a more thorough and even combustion, etc, etc.

These are not some gimmicky split fire or iridium tipped crap these are the real deal, factory spec racing spark plugs. These plugs are brand new, never installed.
